Introduction to the Gospels
Preface to "The Gospels"
The core of Christianity is "believing in Jesus." But who is Jesus? How does one "believe" in Him? The Gospels in the Bible are meant to help us find the answers, to testify to who Jesus is, so that all who read these books may hear this "good news" and receive salvation. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). We must find the way to God the Father in our confused and hesitant lives; we must find the unchanging truth in a reality where truth and falsehood are indistinguishable; we must find the eternal hope of life in the despair of sin and death.
There is only one way: trust in the Lord Jesus.

This course, through the study of 13 theological themes, helps believers walk with the Lord Jesus in their lives: Walking in the Lord's ways—through the testimonies of the Gospels, we not only learn about Jesus' birth and life, name and identity, but also come to know and accept Jesus as the Lord of our lives, embarking on the path to Christ's glorious kingdom. Walking in the Lord's truth—Jesus' teachings, miracles, parables, and even some seemingly difficult words reveal the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, letting us know that He is the truth.
Walking in the life of the Lord—Jesus established a relationship with God the Father through prayer; he cultivated the lives of believers through discipleship. Until He was nailed to the cross and died for our sins; and ultimately conquered death, accomplished salvation, and gave us eternal life.
The Gospels have guided us on a journey with the Lord Jesus for thirty years, especially during His last three years on earth, allowing us to experience a unique "theological course" and "church leadership training" alongside His disciples! The Lord Jesus not only desired us to be His disciples but also entrusted us with His Great Commission. May everyone who studies the Gospels share with others, leading them to become disciples of the Lord Jesus and walk with Him.
