3D-2 3D Study Guide for Teachers - User Manual
Course content: Each lesson provides materials in ten sections;
I. Objectives of this lesson
Explain the direction of the lesson content design so that group leaders have something to follow when leading their groups.
II. Icebreaking
The instructor provides questions for thought or discussion as a starting point to guide group members into the central idea of the lesson. Their responsibility is to guide and encourage participants to think and share.
III. Background Introduction
Provide some background information related to this lesson for the teacher to introduce to the students at the beginning of each lesson.
IV. Film Screening
The video clips from this lesson will be played, using the speaker's explanations or dialogues with the host, as well as pictures, charts, and text, to clarify the essence of the lesson and answer believers' frequent questions about some scriptures. Most of the pictures and videos in the video were filmed on location in Egypt, Jordan, and Israel to increase the sense of realism.
V. Film Review
Select key points from the dialogue in the video and compile them into multiple-choice questions. Before playing the video, the teacher should have students review the questions to ensure they pay attention to the key points while watching the video. If time permits, the group leader can play the video once to give group members a preliminary understanding, and then play it again for group members to fill in the questions.
VI. Lecture Summary
This summary outlines the key points of the video explanations, helping teachers to restate and explain the essence of the text, ensuring students fully grasp the main idea. Teachers can use this summary flexibly, adjusting the level of detail as needed.
VII. Scripture Study
Select a key scripture passage taught in the video and focus your study on a single theme and within the scope of the passage. If used in a birthday-themed class, the "Scripture Sharing" section can be used as interactive discussion material. If there is insufficient time for classroom discussion, the answers from the "Scripture Sharing" section can be incorporated into the course content.
8. Live it out
When offering advice on how to put knowledge into practice, teachers should encourage students to go beyond simply learning the concepts. In the next class, students can be asked to share their experiences of "putting knowledge into practice" from the previous lesson, encouraging each other.
9. Memorize Bible Verse
The key verses prepared for students to memorize are all taken from the New Testament. They serve as evidence of the connection between the Old and New Testaments and are also an effective way to help students memorize the course content.
10. References
Provide teachers with additional materials related to this lesson to give them a deeper understanding of the lesson. Teachers can choose to use the materials as needed.
