preamble:

Most of us would know that life is not perfect. In every day of our lives, we inevitably see competition and conflict between people. Even a small child competes for the most attention to ensure his own worth and to be loved.

It happens in all communities. This is why many people have a hard time trusting people and loving each other unconditionally. Everyone is trying to find ways to prove their ability and competence to earn value and meaning for their existence. Once they lose their ability to perform and be productive, this value and significance diminishes. This is why the Bible says, "Vanity of vanities, void of vanities, all things are vanity.

What profit is there in all the labour of man, that he labours in the light of day?" (Eccl. 1:2-3) In other words, what is the point of man's existence when he needs to labour to earn their worth? Something must be wrong with our value system. We should explore the root causes that have led us into our current situation and challenge ourselves to make changes.
