Chapter 23
I reflect on whether I might also succumb to pressure from the masses or the opinions of the majority and abandon the truth. Sometimes I compromise or remain silent for fear of offending people. To avoid such situations, I must recognize the truth, distinguish right from wrong, and bravely stand up to bear witness for God! I pray that God will grant me such courage and wisdom to not compromise, not to pander, and to uphold the truth!

Chapter 21
Comparing the donations of the rich man and the poor widow, Jesus valued the poor widow's two small coins more. She herself was in need, yet she willingly gave all her means of livelihood, demonstrating her complete faith in God and her wholehearted love. The rich man, on the other hand, though giving more, was simply giving away what he had.
We are all created by God, and the whole world belongs to Him. God does not need our money or help. What God values is our heart, whether we are willing to offer our whole being to Him as a living sacrifice, to dedicate our money, talents, time, gifts, etc. to God's kingdom, to expand God's kingdom, and to glorify God's name!

Chapter 18
Jesus used the widow's plea (verses 1-8) to teach us to pray often. He also contrasted this with the prayers of the Pharisees and the tax collector (verses 9-14). These two passages teach me what kind of prayer pleases God, reminding me to pray with the widow's persistence, sincerity, dedication, and perseverance, for God will surely vindicate her. We should also emulate the tax collector's attitude in prayer; he felt unworthy, confessed his sins, and asked God for mercy and forgiveness. We should not be like the Pharisees, using flowery words, engaging in superficiality, being self-righteous, and despising others.
Those who exalt themselves will be humbled; those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

Chapter 16
Jesus told the story of the rich man and Lazarus to remind us not to be like the Pharisees, outwardly keeping the law but not understanding what God values. We should cherish and make the most of our lives on earth, doing what God commands us to do, lest we have no chance to turn back after death and regret it too late.

Chapter 11
Jesus cast out the unclean spirit by God's power, but the unclean spirit went and brought with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they entered and made their home there. The last condition of that man was worse than the first.”
(Luke 11:26)
Remind myself to confess and repent, and after being forgiven and cleansed by the Lord, not to sin again, for the consequences will be worse than before. Pray that God will watch over my heart, not giving the devil a foothold to stumble and steal this precious blessing God has given me. Pray that God will help me spend time drawing near to Him, to know more of the truth, to discern right from wrong, and to stand firm.

Chapter Nine
The conversation between Jesus and the three men about “following” him reveals that they lacked a proper understanding of “following the Lord” and had many concerns and excuses.
To follow the Lord, one must be prepared to endure hardship, sacrifice oneself, and pay the price. One should no longer crave a comfortable and easy environment, but break through one's narrow-minded perspective, see the needs and mission of God's Kingdom, adjust the priorities in life, put God first, seek God's will in everything, not follow one's own desires, and one's life will be transformed.Chapter Ten
Martha and Mary did different things at home. Martha served the Lord diligently, but her mind was busy and she inevitably complained. Jesus thought that Martha was worried and troubled about many things and could not listen to the Lord's words as attentively as Mary.
Today, as we serve the Lord, we must remind ourselves not to exhaust ourselves with too many ministry activities and gatherings, leaving no time to be quiet before the Lord, draw near to God, meditate on His word, and neglect the best blessings.

Chapter Six
Before choosing the twelve apostles, Jesus went up on the mountain to pray, spending the whole night in prayer with God. This serves as a reminder to always seek God's help and will first, rather than relying on one's own wisdom and ability.
Jesus taught his disciples what is "blessed" and what is "wrong," as well as how to treat enemies and others. This is similar to what we...
Today's values and ways of dealing with the world seem vastly different. I pray that God will help me not to follow the trends of the world and stray from the right path, so that the foundation of my faith may be built on God's firm word. I am willing to follow the Lord's will, not human preferences. -
